Biography

Lathika Sadasivan was born and raised in Singapore. She enjoys connecting with family and friends there as often as possible. Her family moved to the US more than three decades ago. Lathika currently lives in the Bay Area with her family.

Lathika earned a Bachelor's degree in English with a Special Emphasis in English Literature from University of Singapore and a Master鈥檚 degree in TESOL from University of San Francisco. She also holds several teaching credentials from Singapore and California. Her love of writing and things aesthetic has motivated Lathika to author and illustrate books and magazines and create original works of art.

Throughout her career, Lathika has been a teacher. She prepared high school students for the Cambridge Exams when she taught English in Singapore. She taught students English Language at high schools and middle schools in the Bay Area. Lathika has been teaching at 69萝莉 since 2014. Lathika is enriched by learning from her students and their different cultures and customs while she teaches them ESL and different aspects of American culture.

Lathika hopes to continue to teach and motivate students and learn more about their history and backgrounds in return. She believes sharing stories and gaining cultural perspectives can only propel us forward in our lives and as human beings.
