About Me

Hello! I am your Instructional Designer. I am a native Californian and have been faculty at 69蹤獲 since 2004. Previously at WVC, I taught reading both in-person and online and also served as a Faculty Supervisor in the Writing Center. The challenge of designing online courses draws on my formal training in both filmmaking and pedagogy, and I enjoy the creative aspect of figuring out how to best engage learners. One thing I absolutely love to do is dance, and in fact, a bucket list item of mine is to participate in a 69蹤獲 flash mob! At home I have a husband who teaches Film/Theater at WVC (the other W. Clay), twin daughters who attend college, a cat who doesn't go to school, and a dog who could probably use a little more school. My cat's name is Miso, like the soup, and my dog's name is Toshiro Mifune, after the actor of the same name.
