Course Description
This course covers culture and facilitates language acquisition through listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Content is expanded beyond survival needs of the immediate environment and covers intermediate linguistic functions such as expressing personal opinions, making suggestions on familiar topics, and making plans. The course also analyzes works of cultural and philosophical importance. High frequency structures and high level vocabulary are covered in the course as more complex discourse is presented.
