Course Description
In this course, students have the opportunity to recognize and create stenographic outlines and voice codes for intermediate to advanced-level vocabulary, terminology, and phraseology, and apply speed-building techniques necessary to attain a writing speed of 180 words per minute with a focus on multi-voice reporting. Machine and voice writing and transcription also include application of realtime writing skills for educational captioning. Content and assignments focus on multi-voice reporting and educational captioning requirements and considerations.
