Course Description
In this course, students have the opportunity to study and apply computer-compatible stenographic or voice theory to recognize and create stenographic outlines for standard legal testimony terms and phrases necessary to attain writing speeds of 80 - 100 words per minute. Three and four speaker identification, formatting, and common terminology are also introduced, along with targeted practice material and skill development strategies. Supplemental jury charge and literary material are also covered for continued vocabulary development.
