The centerpiece of the concert is a work by composer Mari Esabel Valverde, 鈥淲hen Thunder Comes,鈥� celebrating the struggle for civil rights. The concert will close with 鈥淚 Dream a World鈥� by Andr茅 Thomas, with poetry by Langston Hughes.
